I definitely think that getting the body moving helps us mentally but unless you’re training for something specific it doesn’t have to be every day, and it doesn’t have to be a hardcore sweat fest.
People struggling with an ‘earn and burn’ mindset might find it really hard to be out of their normal routine and may find themselves desperately trying to burn the calories that they are boredom eating. You don’t have to. Life is hard enough right now, go easy on yourself.
Sometimes it’s ok to exercise your mind and soul just as you would your body.
